SLiquid Set to Showcase First Custom Liquid-Cooled CDU at DATA CENTRE WORLD ASIA

October 8–9, SLiquid will participate in DATA CENTRE WORLD ASIA to launch its first Southeast Asia-tailored liquid-cooled CDU. This launch is set to accelerate the adoption and advancement of advanced liquid-cooling technologies amid the region’s booming AI and high-density data center expansion.

Currently, Southeast Asia’s data centers are expanding at a breakneck pace to meet explosive AI and HPC computing demand—yet they grapple with unique and pressing challenges. For heat dissipation, rising chip power coupled with the region’s tropical heat has pushed traditional air cooling to its limits.

 

For energy and sustainability, markets like Singapore have strict PUE rules. Meanwhile, cooling systems’ high energy use hikes operational costs, squeezing data centers between compliance and cost pressures. What’s more, scaling brings further hurdles: limited server room space, complex maintenance, inflexible capacity expansion, and unstable operations.

 

Compared with traditional air cooling, liquid-cooling not only boosts operational efficiency and cuts energy use, but also extends hardware lifespan. It helps build a solid foundation for a green, efficient AI ecosystem.
